Loofah sponge used for lighting! The Loofah cylinder makes a great pendant light or sconce creating a unique diffused warm lighting effect that is easy on the eyes.

A member of the Cucurbitaceae (Gourd) family. The Loofah is spelled several different ways – Lofah, Luffa or Lufa. It’s commonly known as the Washrag Gourd. It grows fast and can reach 12 foot in height. It is the only plant known that can be raised and used as a sponge.
