Domestic Shipping

Shipment Processing Time

For over 15 years all of Railroadware’s unique lighting, hardware or gifts are custom and made to order. We process an order within 1-3 days of purchase. We assemble & produce the order generally within 7 days of the order or the following week. If an issue arises with your order a member of our team will reach out to you via email. Orders are processed Monday through Friday and most are shipped within 3-7 days of purchase. During times of high volume such as Christmas, delays are expected. Custom orders may involve locating or ordering additional parts which will be communicated to the customer.

Shipping costs are calculated based on weight size etc. and can add up especially on multiple product orders. We explain this on each order template that shipping costs will be reviewed and refunded if they are out of  variance or excessive. Please notify us if there is any issue with online shipping charges.

Shipment Notifications

We will contact you when you order has been shipping providing you with the tracking codes.

Shipment Errors & Resolutions

We are all human so shipment errors can occur. Fortunately there is always a resolution. Below is a list of potential errors,

  1. Received wrong item.
  2. Item says delivered, but is not in possession.
  3. Never received order.
  4. Tracking information says order has been delayed.
  5. Tracking information says order is still awaiting shipment.

International Shipping

We do offer international shipping. International delivery times will take longer, but processing times remain within 1-3 days of purchase. We do not offer returns when purchasing internationally.

Eco Friendly Options

To reduce the impact we have on the environment we try to use biodegradable shipping materials or reused boxes as much as possible. If you live locally in we highly recommend choosing in-store pickup at check out.

We also pay carbon fees when offered on carriers such as UPS.

Local Pick Up

As an alternative to shipping we offer local pick-up in the Chico area. Contact us if you are interested.
